Chaotic Comics is not responsible for the cost of import duties, taxes, or tariffs applied by U.S. Customs or any other border authority. We will use the provided app called Zonos to calculate the tariff/import duty/tax fees.

US buyers are responsible for paying these fees upon receipt of your invoice. Any orders not paid within 24 hours will be subject to cancellation. Any returned packages will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.

Tracked packages come with $100 insurance by default, Lettermail carries no insurance. Want more treasure protection? Message us for more info.

All comics ship freshly bagged and boarded, unless otherwise noted (such as Free Comic Book Day items or specific bulk deals). We use rigid mailers, corner protection, and appropriate packaging to ensure your items arrive in the condition they left us.

Every comic you order from Chaotic Comics arrives freshly bagged, boarded, and battle-ready—because your books deserve better than being tossed in a flimsy envelope like junk mail.

Matty packs each order like it’s heading into a boss fight—corner-safe, chaos-proof, and obsessively secured.

When your hoard grows to include oversized items like slabs, trades, and toys, your shipping cost will bump up—but that’s because we don’t mess around with your treasures — but we’ll always get you the best possible rate.

Lettermail options are available within Canada for small orders under 500g, but heavier or bulkier hauls will require tracked shipping.

We’ll safely pile up your website purchases and Facebook Live Auction wins in your personal hold box until you're ready to ship.

When you give the word, we’ll calculate shipping and send you a shipping invoice. Once it’s paid, we’ll ship your full hoard, fortified and tracked.

Too close to the lair to bother with shipping? We got you. Here’s how to summon your stash like a true local legend:

  1. At Checkout Select → 🛑 “HOLD — DO NOT SHIP”
  2. You’ll receive a magical scroll (okay, fine, it’s an email) when your order is prepped for pickup.
  3. Reply to that email and let us know which day and what time you’ll arrive to retrieve your spoils.
  4. On the appointed day, your loot will be left at the gates (our door), clearly marked with your name—no riddles, no quests, no signature required.
  5. Boom. You win. The hoard is yours.

Reminder: No fire-breathing near the pickup zone. The insurance doesn't cover that.

If your package arrives damaged, please:

  1. Take clear photos of the outer packaging before opening.
  2. Email the photos, your order number, and a quick description to us.

📸 Most couriers require proof of damage before opening to process any claims.

We are not responsible for lost or damaged packages after they leave our shop, but we’ll support your claim with all available info.

We aim to ship within 2–5 business days of your order being placed.

Live Auction wins may ship later, depending on your payment plan or if you’re combining with other orders in a Hold Box.

Once your order ships, you’ll receive tracking info and updates. (Unless it is lettermail, in which case, we do not offer tracking).

Due to the delicate nature of paper products, and the dynamic and ever changing nature of the collectibles market, ALL sales from Chaotic Comics are FINAL. NO Returns, Refunds or Exchanges.

Cancelling an Order: Orders containing in-stock items and have not yet shipped, can be cancelled within 24hrs, and are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Orders that contain gift card(s), pre-orders or auction wins CANNOT be cancelled.
