All comics ship freshly bagged and boarded, unless otherwise noted (such as Free Comic Book Day items or specific bulk deals). We use rigid mailers, corner protection, and appropriate packaging to ensure your items arrive in the condition they left us.

Every comic you order from Chaotic Comics arrives freshly bagged, boarded, and battle-ready—because your books deserve better than being tossed in a flimsy envelope like junk mail.
Matty packs each order like it’s heading into a boss fight—corner-safe, chaos-proof, and obsessively secured.
When your hoard grows to include oversized items like slabs, trades, and toys, your shipping cost will bump up—but that’s because we don’t mess around with your treasures — but we’ll always get you the best possible rate.
Lettermail options are available within Canada for small orders under 500g, but heavier or bulkier hauls will require tracked shipping.

We’ll safely pile up your website purchases and Facebook Live Auction wins in your personal hold box until you're ready to ship.
When you give the word, we’ll calculate shipping and send you a shipping invoice. Once it’s paid, we’ll ship your full hoard, fortified and tracked.
If your package arrives damaged, please:
- Take clear photos of the outer packaging before opening.
- Email the photos, your order number, and a quick description to us.
📸 Most couriers require proof of damage before opening to process any claims.
We are not responsible for lost or damaged packages after they leave our shop, but we’ll support your claim with all available info.
We aim to ship within 2–5 business days of your order being placed.
Live Auction wins may ship later, depending on your payment plan or if you’re combining with other orders in a Hold Box.
Once your order ships, you’ll receive tracking info and updates. (Unless it is lettermail, in which case, we do not offer tracking).
Not your holy grail? No problem.
✅ Returns are accepted on most items, excluding pre-orders and gift cards.
📦 You’re responsible for return shipping, and the item must arrive in the same condition it left in.
💸 Once we receive the return, we’ll issue a refund to your original payment method.
- Unshipped orders may be cancelled, but will incur a 20% restocking fee.
- Pre-orders and gift cards cannot be cancelled, returned, or refunded.
